Born in 1989, Camilla Lier Hagen is a Norwegian artist and educator, holding bachelor degrees in illustration and art history and qualifications as a teacher.

As a researcher she is fascinated by both fact and fiction.

As an artist she strives towards depicting reality, fantasy and everything in between.

In her work she aims to create pieces that are simultaneously eye-catching and easily understood, yet also layered enough to invite further study.

Her aesthetics is that of a magpie. She likes to scavenge and hoard shiny things, be it intel or visuals, so that she may integrate them into her works. She has great fun visualizing text, concepts and ideas.

Her specialization is a digital-based mixed media approach.

She is currently working as a full-time teacher.
